Movements - 38 weeks today

Hi are babies able to move less due to less room? Just wondering if she’s okay because the movements are so much less today . I’ve had a sugary drink & that’s got her going for abit . She’s only moved like 3 bits of the day , usually can’t get her to stop moving all day . Any suggestions?

Movements shouldn't be less, I would ring triage, as they run out of space their movements change from big kicks to gentle rolls and stretching

If your concerned defo get checked but babies still have plenty of room to move at the end

Movements don't reduce they just feel different.

Call triage and go on the CTG for an hour to make sure everything is ok, which it likely is ❤️ xx

She’s such an active baby & I never got this far in pregnancy on first child so not sure what I should be expecting at this stage . My partner is trying to get home quick so we can go in & get checked . We’re due midwife appointment Tuesday . But does it mean they’re refer us for another scan with reduced movements? X

My baby isn’t moving as much as before or it’s not as obvious, I was going to get checked but then she did move a lot again. I think it definitely changes and very likely nothing to worry about but worth checking just in case!

If everything is normal when you're on the monitor then you likely won't need a scan xx

Thank you! I appreciate it x

I am 38 weeks tomorrow and been in today with reduced movements. Always best to get checked and follow your instincts.

Has anyone else been through a bad time with a c section?

I had a c section 3 and a half weeks ago and it’s been a nightmare since. I was hoping to find some people to talk to who’s been through a traumatic healing process with a c section?

VBAC

So I’m hoping for a VBAC but … last night I had sex for the first time in what feels like forever and my god did it hurt and sting afterwards … he’s big but not baby big and now I’m terrified 😂

Anterior Placenta Mamas 👋🤰

Anyone else experiencing the highs and lows of an anterior placenta?!🤣 One day I’m crying over lack of movement, the next I’m begging him to stop due to the weird and uncomfortable placenta, cervix and organ kicks 🙄 How are you tracking movement? What are you feeling?

Smells like labour?

This might sound dumb but hear me out 😅 I'm currently 40+2weeks, had a sweep on Friday but since then just had some very mild cramps every few hours, I imagine probably more irritation from the sweep more than anything. I lost my mucus plug this morning (this happened during early labour with my first) and now i feel like I smell like im gonna give birth. Is that completely ridiculous? I dunno how to explain the smell, i just feel like I have a smell of labour about me 😅

Little rant 🙊

Does anyone else have lots of people keep telling them how tired they look? I just don’t even know what to say back - “thanks”, “that’s just my face”, “yes my body is working really hard right now and I’m still a working member of society”. There’s nothing I can do about it 😂😂 starting to drive me up the wall!

Is this a Braxton Hick?

Hard belly, baby really sticks out, suddenly feel the need to wee, and a very mild brief period type pain and only lasts about 5-10 seconds?
