Dad is a plumber. Do not flush tampons. They are designed to absorb and hold liquid and they do not break down in the sewer system. The only thing that should be going down the toilet is toilet paper, and organic waste.

I’ve seen signs before saying do not flush tampons and have always been so confused as to why the sign was needed. I thought no one was doing this…
Is it a normal this to do in different countries ? Like are tampons made of something different other places or do they have different plumbing structures?

Absolutely not. I know too many plumbers to do something as silly as that

Nope. Thought it was common knowledge?
