FINALLY! & on 4/20

Finally had my daughter 🫶🏾🥰 and we can’t wait to get home! I got induced on 4/19 and had her on 4/20 with no c section!! YAYYY!

Any plus size mums?

I'm plus sized and was due to have a C-section today as baby was breech, they did a quick scan and baby was head down so they cancelled my section and said it was best as I have an apron belly and it would make an increased risk of infection on the scar.

I asked for possible induction but they again refused to me having a high BMI and an increased risk of bleeding as I'm on blood thinners. Even asked for the balloon but consultant said no to that too :(

I just feel really disheartened about it all, I was so ready to go meet my baby this morning we got up at 5am to be at the hospital for 6.30 but now I'm back to square one.

Midwife gave me a stretch and sweep, said I'm 2cm but it literally just made me bleed a little and have a few little cramps :( but nothing since :(

I just want my baby here 😭

Did your second baby come later than your first?

I had my first daughter at 38 weeks + 3 days. I was so convinced I'd have my second daughter at 38 weeks or even earlier as I'm WAY bigger. But I'm not 38 weeks + 4 days pregnant and no sign of baby.

Were your second babies earlier or later than your first?

Does anyone else wonder when the first June baby in this group will come? 👶🏼 👀

I was in a Feb 2023 group with my first born and seeing all the baby pictures start flooding in was the best. Hopefully not just yet though, but I can’t wait! Wishing everyone a healthy pregnancy, birth and postpartum 💗

Periods..

Hi Mumma’s,

When did everyone’s periods return back to normal? I’m nearly 6 months postpartum and periods are every 8 weeks, before pregnancy very regular?

Is this normal?

been trying to gaslight myself this entire pregnancy ( 35 weeks ) that i want this baby but it’s not working … im just so scared and not excited at all

Looking way too pregnant for this early stage!! 😳

I just put 2 side by side pictures of me pregnant with my first at 25 weeks and me with my (current) 2nd pregnancy at 13 weeks and I look like am 20 weeks pregnant! I’m concerned people are gonna think am lying to them when I tell me am not even that far along!! Like even looking down, I look properly pregnant!
