Not shuffling, not pulling up to stand. She still feels like a baby!! Anyone else?

In the same boat! She manages to spin around in circles but that’s as much as I’m getting out of her. It’s easy to compare to others, I know mine will get there when she’s ready, I’m just encouraging with plenty tummy time, exercises etc. x

Same. Not crawling, not shuffling, not rolling over, not pulling up 🤷‍♀️

Mine only started last week (crawling) and there were no signs he was going to, never did any shuffling or rolling, just did one day and then this week has been pulling up on furniture. It will happen when you least expect it.

Same here!

Same here! She old rolls but even that she gets annoyed with quickly and cries to be picked up.

We had the 8-12 HV review today and the HV was not concerned at all, said that they’ll have until 18 months to start walking. I asked if we should encourage her in any way and she said there’s nothing we can do apart from floor time, and that each baby will start when they are ready physically.

Same here, no attempts to crawl or shuffle, he is a big sitter haha, anything out of reach he just gives up on lol. Supports his own legs when propped up next to the sofa but wouldn’t pull himself up independently. I didn’t walk until after I was one and never crawled so think he just comes after me.

when to change the pram?

my son only turned 3 months yesterday but he is SO nosey. he falls asleep in the car a lot so i tend to just use the car seat instead of the bassinet. but when he wakes up he cries unless i take him out and carry him. and then he’s all up in everyone’s business😂 the seat unit for my pram does say it can be used from birth as it can lie flat, but i was hoping for him to be sitting up by the time i changed him over to that, and a bit bigger- he’s on the 25th centile, 12lbs 13oz as of yesterday. he holds his head up all the time now so i’m slightly less concerned in that sense. what age did everyone change their babies from the bassinet to the seat unit? and if i had him facing me would that be enough for him to still be able to look around, or would he be better off world facing? i’m just mindful that he’s still very young, but i’m a first time mum so i want to know everyone’s experiences and advice!

Was the nursery carer wrong for saying this?

My baby is starting nursery (she’s 13 months). Today was her first settling in hour. My baby has CMPA and we are working on introducing dairy to her with a dietician. For now she can’t have cows milk. She’s still breastfed. They said she can have oatmilk with breakfast and I’m happy with this as we do this at home too. However they also offer them milk to drink and I said I’m happy to provide breastmilk. The manager emailed me about it earlier and said it’s fine as long as it’s clearly labeled. The nursery worker seemed not keen and said she can drink oat milk and she can have breastmilk at home. Is it just me or was that comment wrong?

How beautiful must be

To have a baby that at 21 months sleeps nicely through the night and wakes up at a decent time (7am would be already a good time)?
I cannot stop thinking how being it must be for the parents of those babies who are now finally sleeping through the night and not waking up before 6am.

I’m so so done with the night awakenings and early rise and a grumpy baby since the time he opens his eyes
