Just left hospital…

Omg just had an elective section when does the pain stop?
I’m day 1 today & although I’m moving around I’m only having paracetamol and ibuprofen which I can’t see helping! I’m so sore.
I’m gonna need to do stairs too. Also I’ve got a pico dressing any advice on making the most of that too x

i was prescribed naproxen and dihydrocodeine and wow they helped me so much! i struggled for the first three days and was out the house on the fourth and in the car and stuff. i promise you it gets so much easier! also had a pico dressing and my wound never got infected or anything 🥰 xxx

I asked chat gpt to make me a pain killer schedule and I had alarms to remind me to take a tablet . By staying on top of pain relief helps a lot 😍

Everyone is different however it should drastically reduce by 5-7 days but keep on top of meds. Likely to be in pain a week or 2 . Dihydrocodeine is amazing, if they didn’t give you any, request it tomorrow from midwife or gp x

Baby coming early...

Update: I've now had a bloody show and contractions are back a little stronger...

Update 2: waters have broken 🤣🤣 looks like the little darling doesn't want to wait!

Hey everyone,

I'm 36+6 today, little man due 15th May, but I don't think we will make it to May...

I can't remember the timeline of things happening with my first baby other than when my waters went.

But last night I had tightenings that weren't the normal Braxton Hicks. BH usually happens at the top, once or twice a day. Last night the tightenings were happening from the bottom and spreading upwards. Semi regularly from 6pm-12am roughly. I know that part is normal...

Then I woke up this morning and went for a wee and my mucus plug has decided to vacate the building 🫠🤣 I'm now getting more tightenings low down and the pain in my inner thighs has increased - something else I didn't get with my first.

Anyone else in this boat right now? Or can you remember roughly how long it took from mucus plug coming away to labour starting?

Thank you ❤️❤️

C section

Since having a C-section, has anyone else felt like this?

After I eat, I sometimes feel really weak and heavy, like my body just slows down and even my posture feels off. I’m about 4 months postpartum and it’s still happening.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows what it could be? 🤍

Leaving the hospital

It’s 3am, I’m dying to know if my hospital just sucked.

Did you leave the hospital in a wheel chair after giving birth?
