Bad hospital experience

Has anyone else had a bad hospital experience? I feel like I was not listened to and was rushed out of the hospital. I had very bad cramps in the postpartum room and I was told it was normal and I should just take the Tylenol… We were discharged at 10pm and no one checked the car seat we even asked. My birth plan was not listened to and did not see a lactation consultant. Has anyone else had the same experience?

I was told the pain I was feeling was "just covid". I was in labour

Yes I started having back pains so bad around 12 am through the rest of the morning I finally went to the hospital and he told me it was cause I had intercourse the previous night, I expressed to him that this felt more severe than that he sent me home and I went back again that night dilated

I felt like I wasn’t being listened to and I hated it

Girl my first ob assumed I had no husband or insurance and then when she was told otherwise decided there was no possible way I was pregnant cause I was to fat. My second ob said he would never deliver my baby because I was to fat so I needed to go to a different hospital then when I tried to get him to change me to the other hospital for the rest of my pregnancy had no idea why I was choosing to go to that hospital. Then the Friday before my scheduled C-section I went into labor. I went to the hospitals emergency ob department like I was instructed to do and was sent home at 5cm (if I went over 3 they were supposed to do my C-section) but not before they tried to pressure me out of my C-section. Finally the night before my C-section I received calls once an hour every hour from 8am to 1am from the emergency ob department pressuring me to cancel my C-section that by the time the last call was made I was so tired of being questioned that I finally lost it and called the head of the entire hospital

Just left hospital…

Omg just had an elective section when does the pain stop?
I’m day 1 today & although I’m moving around I’m only having paracetamol and ibuprofen which I can’t see helping! I’m so sore.
I’m gonna need to do stairs too. Also I’ve got a pico dressing any advice on making the most of that too x

Is my baby ok?!

My little girl will be 4 months soon, and the past few weeks she literally stiffens her whole body up straight when I try to sit her on my lap.. before a feed, after a feed or just to sit her in her chair? She also curves her back a lot when I hold her head over my shoulder to wind her??? It’s like she literally wants to get herself up from being sat down??? She also does it when she has a little bit of a temper? Anyone???

What week did you go into labor?

I’m having a c-section at 39+1, and I’m terrified labor will start before then. Currently at 37+3. I know some people deliver earlier or later than the included options. Feel free to share!

Water

How can I encourage my baby to drink water and a decent amount? I’ve tried different Tommee Tippee bottles/ cups with different straw types, we’ve tried Munchkin as it was recommended which worked really well but now he’s lost interest. He’s 11 months but will be on formula until he reaches 12 corrected in the summer but I’m worried that if by that time he still isn’t drinking he won’t be getting enough fluids

For elective c sections ?

For elective sections- do they do this bang on due date? Or can they wait two weeks like they do if you were overdue and going to be induced?
