Anyone else's child still just scribbling for drawings?
She does the odd circle and has good hand control but just doesn't seem bothered. She also doesn't know the alphabet but has incredible vocabulary - also just doesn't seem bothered!
Can write her letter of her first name only. Easily frustrated
I keep seeing pictures of kids artwork at 3 of people!

Mine is exactly like this! He can draw a spider and a snake and that's it. I've noticed his colouring in is becoming a bit more focused but still scribbling. He doesnt know his alphabet but can recognize his name and knows his numbers by sight so I'm sure it's fine. Some kids just aren't arty

My daughter absolutely loves drawing but I’m yet to see anything that resembles what it’s meant to be 🥴😅😅
That said, a few weeks ago she would just draw circles and now she’s progressing to other shapes and wriggles so there is some improvement there. I don’t try and guide her, just let her do her thing. Once they can draw shapes I reckon other things slot into plsce. She knows numbers and alphabet but can’t write anything other than O and L

Same here! He’s incredibly advanced verbally, talks like a 10 year old, but can’t hold a pencil or crayon correctly. His imagination is off the charts, but he’s simply not interested in learning his letters yet. I asked nursery if we should be worried and they said not at all

Same here. Mine does "know" the alphabet but doesn't recognize all of the letters if asked. Compared to others, he's not very good at writing or drawing. Can do his H for his name. But not a lot more. When he traces is also not great. He is, however, fluent in 2 languages (impressively so) and understands a third. So Idk... He also has always been extremely physical, so maybe they go on developing different skills at different times
