Alcohol after c section

When did you lot start drinking alcohol again after c section? I’m 5 weeks pp from my c section and have an event tomorrow that involves alcohol, just wondering if it’s okay to drink bit or would it be wiser to wait a little longer. Would ask my midwife but I’ve been discharged so I can no longer get in contact with her.

I had a c section a week ago and I’m planning on having wine with my roast on Sunday x

I think if you’re only having a few it should be okay? I had a few glasses of Baileys the day after my c section.

Fair play you even want to go to an event 5 weeks post csection 😂 I believe its recommended to wait 6-8 weeks after to ensure youre healed but if youre feeling up to it I'd go by your own judgement!

I went for a pint when my girl was 4 days out to “wet the babies head” with my family 🤣

Alcohol is fine as long as you aren’t drinking too much and on heavy medication. With my second baby I had a glass or two of mulled wine after 3 weeks as it was Christmas time and a wedding at 5/6 weeks too.

If breastfeeding you can pump and store milk if you intend on drinking quite a bit but if it’s only 1/2 it’s fine and no harm to the baby. Just don’t be knocking back vodka shots all night, stick to a wine or two.

I waited 24hrs after I finished my blood thinner injections (6 weeks) - best glasses of red wine I've ever had!

Is this a bump?

I feel like I am being super stupid here.. I want to say it’s a bump but I’m only 13 weeks (today) with my first baby so surely it’s too soon for me to be showing? I’m super excited at the thought of a bump so I don’t know if I’m just getting excited over bloat or something..

TMI but…..

Im 4 weeks pp from my c-section and I am so horny! I know I can’t have penetration until at least 6 weeks and I don’t plan to before that. I was debating other types of stimulation but I am also terrified that any kind will hurt soo badly and I don’t want to mess up my recovery. Anyone else have this problem? What did you do to find relief?

Blood thinning injections.

I’m gutted … so I left hospital yesterday and they’ve prescribed me 6 weeks of clexane! 6 weeks! I know it’s for a reason but seems so unfair. She also said I have to keep my stockings on that long too!

Anyone else doing the same?

Birthdays

Hey!
My little boy is going to be 2 in August. I’m really stuck on whether to throw him a party or not. Any ideas? We’ve got quite a big family so a party is ideal as at least everyone can see him but then I also think that they could make the effort and try and see him without a party🙈😂 (a lot of the family don’t really bother to see him unless we make plans with them)..
