My 5 week old is currently on 5oz as she was on 4oz but was hungry again after an hour. Since increasing to 5 she’s been sick a LOT, I tried going back down to 4 but she would down the whole bottle and still be hungry. I tried a dummy to see if she actually just wanted comfort but she spits it out and continues screaming. I don’t know what I should do as 4 isn’t enough but 5 seems too much for her as she ends up throwing a lot of it back up. She has a bottle every 2/3 hours, so 5oz for her age and so many of them feels like too much.

Have you tried pace feeding and stopping to burp a few times?

It could be the teat flow is too quick or it could be acid reflux. My baby was sick a lot but they were on the slowest teat so I added drops of infacol to their bottles and that seemed to fix it ☺️

i know for my own kid and research there are a few two hungry signs that a baby will give you. first being that when they are hungry their cry sounds like a "neh " the beginning or if they are trying to eat their fist. the second is they need to burp, they will arch their back, look up to the sky and cry an uncomfortable cry which is similar to a "neh" and "ou" sound and will be very unhappy if you lay them down. i have found burping (2 little or 1 big burp or spit up (no more than an once and half)) will help them not eat or spit up their whole feeding. hopefully this helps, you are doing great mama🫶🏽
