$20 for my 2 year old to play in some sand for ONE HOUR?! Are you out of your mind?! It's even worse if I have 3 kids! Am I missing something? How do these people sleep at night?! I'm sure it's the same situation where it just takes a few bad apples to ruin it for everybody. They have to price it with the worst kids in mind (most destructive/messy). And doesn't it seem ethical to give military discounts across-the-board? Let's take it easy on the moms/dads with spouses overseas! I'm sorry to post this, I just have nobody to talk to/share my gripes with.

My MIL keeps telling me to go to these and Iām like āare you gonna pay?ā š

Here itās Ā£25/$33 per child per swim lesson. Needless to say, thereās no swimming lessons happening right now (plus you need parents in the pool with them and 1 per kid so I canāt attend).
Softplay is say goodbye to £20 minimum. Same with the farm. Aquarium or zoo is £80-100 for the family.

Honestly I do my best to find activityās on Groupon. Everything is so expensive!!

Yep, we go to a play place maybe once every 3-6 months because pricing is insane. We got one of those big kiddie pools from Dollar General($20) and three 50lbs bags of sand from Lowes all for UNDER $50!!!! We have it on our tiny screened in back porch and honestly works perfectly for my 4yo and almost 2yo! lol

The soft play by us is the same, and you arenāt even allowed to bring a bottle of water in with you. You HAVE to buy from them otherwise you canāt have it
