I’m 33 weeks today and I’m due in June. Everyone around me says “Oh it’s difficult to have a newborn in the summer!” “You’re going to struggle!”. Any tips or advice on what essentials I need before he arrives to make it more easier for him please and thank you🩵

I imagine it would be better in summer as you can out outside more. And in terms of essentials the only things you really need are car seat, pram, nappies and wipes. My first wouldnt go in a sling, my second will only go in a wrap. I had baby gym with my first which she would use for about 10 seconds. I needed a ton of Muslins as both mine were sick. I found baby baths useless as baby never seems comfortable but do love the angel care bath seat. I do find having a nappy caddy helpful as you can have bits you need close to hand, plus a white noise machine with red-light on it (not the Tommee tippee one as I found it didnt tap on most of the time) I also have a small portable light that has adjustable brightness in case of needing to see better for nappy changes. Make sure you also have the next size up on nappies, I was caught out with my second. Think about what will make your life easier, easy snacks, drinks bottle, meal prep, Lots of adult pull up nappies and a Peri bottle.
