Yes, having my second c section on 7.05. I will be 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Somehow this time around as I know what to expect I am a bit more anxious but excited at the same time. What worries you?

hey i had one on friday and genuinely i got there and said to the staff “please don’t do this to me i don’t want it” but i PROMISE the worst part about the whole thing is getting the cannula in your hand, the spinal just feels like pressure but it’s not painful, and then from then on you can just feel like pins and needles when people touch you. i wont lie when the surgery went on it was the weirdest sensation and i dont think anyone can prepare you for that but it 1000% doesn’t hurt. during it my blood pressure dropped (which is common with the spinal) and it made me feel really sick i told the man stood by my head he literally pressed a button on a machine and within seconds i didnt feel sick anymore it was amazing. i asked them to not let me know what was going on because i was so nervous and just wanted to be distracted and the whole time i didnt hear a single medical term or anything. everyone around was sooo calm and genuinely id do it all again 1000 times over
