I’m going to Cyprus soon with my daughter who will be 14 months. What are some essentials? It will be hot! Does anyone have a list or checklist that they have used x

Take tupperware for snacky bits! Barely takes extra space cos you can fill them with socks or whatever in the suitcase. We found it excellent to take fruit with us out and about because it was another way to stay hydrated.
I could say a lot more on the in-the-home packlist but it depends if you are self-catering or not or if you just have the hotel room?
Check if your accomodation is providing cot sheets - a lot don't in Europe

Calpol in case they pick up a bug going through the airport.

If your little one will nap in the pram, I highly recommend a SnoozeShade. They go over the pram and block out light and some of the heat

Pram fan if you can't avoid being out in the heat of the day.

If you are still breastfeeding, don't underestimate how much you will personally need to hydrate. Take a biiig bottle or several smaller ones you can take out and about. I struggled to take enough with us out and about in Málaga and you don't want to have to fit in extra shopping trips for water when you are planning excursions around nap times.

Unsettled at nursery- NEED ADVICE

Ladies, I am having a massive meltdown here😂 my 15 month old has been going to nursery since January. She does 2 days a week, starting with half days and now doing full days and has been since around March (08:30am - 5pm).

I’ve just got off the phone with the nursery and they have suggested putting her back to half days as she is having more bad days than good.

I have had a massive meltdown, feeling like I am failing her and missing something. She is such a smiley, happy girl when she’s at home and with her grandparents the other 3 days in the week.

I really felt like we were making progress and are now taking a step back (I am probably being over Emotional here).

I do work full time but I am in a very fortunate positions where she doesn’t NEED to go to nursery but we always wanted her to go for social skills etc.

Has anyone experienced this and have any advice?

Greek yoghurt pizza 🍕

200g self raising flour
Teaspoon of baking powder
200g Greek yoghurt.

This makes so much! It’s so soft like bread which is great for babies just starting to try foods or even when you’re out and about ☺️

Just mix everything, roll in a ball then cut into portions (may need more flour when mixing so it’s not so sticky). Then place flour on worktop, roll into little circle pizza shape - bake for 5 minutes (just the dough) then take out, flip over the place everything on top and then bake until cooked (roughly 7-10 minutes). Nursery or Childminders?

My husband and I are currently applying for nursery waitlists for our baby’s childcare but I recently got into a conversation with a mum who favoured childminders for her two children. Anyone with first hand experience able to share which option they chose and why? It’s our first child so we have no experience with it other than the fact I’m a teacher (but for secondary).

I was absolutely ripped apart at baby group for showing my nearly 5 month old dory’s reef. Can I have other peoples views? Am I wrong? Do you use it?

Am I being unreasonable?

I currently have a 7 week old and a 7 year old. My husband came home from work I had made him his tea which he ate, he then held the baby whilst I had a quick tidy up and put all the washing away.
He then informed me he was going to the pub to watch the football.
I asked if he could stay home as my eldest still has homework to do, the baby needs a bath, I need to express some milk, and it’s hard work getting them both to sleep, I also haven’t eaten any tea yet, I am shattered and I have a broken ankle to add to the mix.
He said I always make him feel like shit whenever he wants to do something and I shouldn’t have a problem with it. He then proceeded to tell me I should go
Out more often as he would prefer it 😡
