Why

Why are most people wanting to start to try and induce labour earlier that 37 weeks 🥴 it honestly baffles me 😅 I get people want to meet their babies but geez babies are still developing and growing.

Most will be medical, i was told to have an induction for my GD baby, i didnt and waited till 40 weeks he came 40+1 and had an awful tear because he was big, now ive taken induction for next week for this baby to prevent hopefully another bad tear i will be 39 weeks when induced

I went into hospital at 37 weeks and almost had to have an induction because of fetal heart rate but thankfully it return to normal an hour before hand

From what people have said induction is no joke so i dont imagine many will do it just to meet their baby early

I’ve been wondering the same thing myself.. honestly. It makes no sense as you said unless there’s a medical reason for it.. let baby fully finish cooking! I understand the last few weeks are hard and we’re eager to meet baby but my gosh it’s only a few weeks.. we’ve literally gone 9 months what’s a few more weeks🫣

I think there is a bit of a fad of people wanting to have teeny tiny babies tbh, I'm not trying to induce labour early so to speak but prepare my body sooner as I have GD and Polyhydramnios so the consultants won't let me go past 39 weeks, but that being said I am still trying to keep baby in there cooking for as long as possible but without having to have a hormonal induction or csection once I hit 39 weeks.

Glad to have read this post because I'm 39+2 now and seeing so many posts about wanting early babies (for whatever reason) was making me feel really anxious that baby should be coming asap / should have come and like I need to be doing more to facilitate this!

Yeah 100% that's how I felt and I have been a real irritated cow because of it to everyone around me 😂 I'm just going with the flow now. Wishing you all the best for your little one and an anxiety free remainder of your pregnancy ❤️

Hair, weddings and illness

I’m a hairdresser and I’ve woken up sooo sick. But of course it’s my clients last hair appointment before her wedding day this Friday. We’re doing a colour and trim.
16 years and this always never gets easier for me.
On one hand I’ll battle on and come in to work. Im a true girly girl and if I didn’t have my hair done for my wedding I’d freak TF out. So I get it and it’s what makes me just power on 99% of the time. But then there’s always the omg what if I make her sick and she wakes up on her wedding day poorly and it’s all my fault.

I HATE my job for this reason. It’s a constant head f&uk

I’ll probably make myself x10 worse by not resting and it’s going probably send me into anxiety/panic attacks territory for the next few hours while I decide what I’m gonna do.

Happy Tuesday guys!

Big bump...

Is anyone watching their bump get bigger by the day knowing you still have potentially a few weeks to go and completely bricking it? Everyone keeps telling me my bump is huge.. and this isn't my first pregnancy but it's my first big 'proper' bump 😭 I'm not sure if my muscles are just loser or baby is actually that much bigger - and people keep on mentioning it and asking if i'm sure there's only 1 is giving me anxiety
