Relocating to York?
Are there any specific areas in and around York we should look at to move to or should avoid?
Just remortgaged our home in London for another 2 years but we are thinking of relocating to York. We’ve enjoyed our times there previously and what our 1 bed flat is worth in London we are looking to buy a 4 bed house in York

following cause my partner and I are considering this too, spent a year studying there it's so beautiful x
Holgate, South Bank, Bootham are all great choice as are close to the centre but still quiet enough with plenty going on in the neighbourhood. Also Fulford and Heworth if you don’t mind to be further out.
I’d probably avoid Tang Hall, Chapelfields and Foxwood - not dangerous or anything but wouldn’t be my first choice
