On Monday of this week, I took my brand new car in to be serviced due to a stalling issue on Saturday. I asked the father of my child is he had any obligations that he had to tend to for the day and he responded no. He then trailed me to the dealership and after handing over my car, I got into his car and left.
He then agreed to take me to do something work related and in the midst of that he states that he had an appointment that he had to go to. The asked him “why when I asked if you had anything to do earlier, you said no” he doesn’t explain and instead tries to show me a screenshot of something. I said, you still could’ve said something. He then pull over to the side of the road and told me to get out of his car and said I’m tired of you talking to me fucked up. Then said no I’ll just take you home. I then said no it’s fine you let me out here. I get out of the car and he pulls off and leaves to wherever he was headed to. I am now on my 2nd trimester of pregnancy. I have a 6 year old son who was also just dropped off at school before dropping off my car.
This man did not call to ensure me and the baby’s safety. He also did not ensure that my 6 year old son made it home later that day. I’m now reconsidering continuance of my pregnancy because someone that lacks care of me and my kids safety is not some I would want permanent ties to.

I would honestly just try to take some time to cool off when you get home and think about if the decision you are making is alright. Yes your baby dad isn't right for what he did but that baby is innocent and I'm sure you have already bonded with him/her. I wouldn't want you to make a permanent decision based on your emotions in the moment. Do you have any family or friends who you can confide in? You will need to have a conversation with him about this and let him know that ish wasn't alright and he needs to apologize. I hope you are alright and make the best decision for yourself and your family.
