I've known my boyfriend for 10 years and we've been dating on and off for 6 of those years now. We got pregnant when we were not together and we did not plan to have a baby. We officially got back together when our son was 2 months old and everything has been okay. Here's the dilemma. I've been talking about how I wanted two kids. He had always said we would adopt if we decided to have another child. I was okay with that It sounded like a good idea to me. I've been talking about how I wanted to adopt a child eventually(planning for the future when I finish college) for awhile now. A week ago he told me he doesn't want any more kids at all and didn't really want one in the first place. That's fine I do understand that for him but I'm unsure of what to do. I still want another child. I won't force him to have another but I do truly love him and am unsure of how to go about the conversation of kids without him immediately getting mad and rude.

break up find someone that does

If you want more children and he doesn’t - you two are not compatible and need to split up. No ifs, buts, or maybes. You are only prolonging the inevitable if you stick around.
If you stay, you’ll end up resentful that he has stopped you having more kids and lo and behold, you’ll end up splitting up, only poorer and older.
