Raphael for a boys name

My husband and I are both totally English so does this sound too Spanish/Italian vibes?

Don’t want the child to have to explain that he doesn’t have continental heritage when people ask his name.

I wouldn't question it. Some might but it's easy enough to just go "no, I'm English".

My legal name is Ebony and for a couple year I had to explain that I got the name from the colour of my hair when I was born. It never really bothered me and I've not been asked for years now. I think its a sweet name! And im sure you'll end up finding nicknames for him as he gets bigger. My Franklin is already a Frankie and hes 4 months old

It also depends on what your surname is. If it’s Raphael Smith then it does sound a bit strange.
