Since my baby turned 3 months old, he has insisted on contact napping. I gave in as I didn't want a tired baby. Now, 8 months old he still refuses his cot in the day.
He is also still in his next to me , and I need to move him out for safety reasons.
How do I approach this? Do I move him into his cot at night? Currently, he falls asleep on me and is quite happy to stay in the next to me at night.
I've created a rod for my own back as he is unable to self settle.
I've tried the feber method but gave in after he got too upset. My intention is to try that method again.
Any help/suggestions/experience would be gratefully received as I'm feeling out of my depth!

Hey, my baby was a contact napper till he were nearly 6 anf half month old, every sleep was on me, I started to put him down once a day for a few days in the cot, then started adding all the other naps in the cot, maybe take your baby in the room to play or place in cot give them something to play with while you interact, that way he will get used to it hopefully, my boy now has all his naps and sleeps in there, with one wake up in the night, I also use the johnson bedtime stuff, so may be worth looking up to make him feel more sleepy for bedtime transition hope you can take as much as possible from this message to help you and your little one x
