Car seats 🚗

Has anyone got a recommended car seat for an 8 week old baby?

I currently have the Ickle bubba Stomp luxe i-size car seat, however, I am a little paranoid about baby’s positioning as I feel like his chin is constantly touching his chest which could potentially be blocking his air way

Go to Bump to Booster - UK Car Seat Support on facebook, if you send a post to the page with babies height, weight, age, your car etc they can give you recommendations for best fit plus they can give you fit support with your current seat until you get a new one.

Unfortunately I’ve learnt a lot of the seats that come with travel systems aren’t very well recommended and often lack correct supports etc x

Napper/Huckleberry

Hi all, do many people use Napper/Huckleberry? If so, do you feel it is actually beneficial?

Also, is it best to get the paid version?

Has anyone had any problems with neighbours after having a baby?

My neighbour is verbally abusive, (shouting, use of profanities, etc.), stomps and bangs consistently, has told us to move, peered through my windows. The list goes on. My landlords are aware, they've warned him, they've told each of us to ignore each other, but he has only grown more comfortable. Unfortunately things always happen so quickly and im not able to record anything. Am I just supposed to live with my phone glued to me constantly recording? I have things to do and a child to care for, nor do I have the means to invest in recording devices. My child wakes up crying because he is afraid to be in his bed, it is worse now because of teething. I genuinely do my best to keep the noise brief and get him right away, but I cannot control my child. I am exhausted, discouraged and it seems as though nothing will change. The landlords will not do anything because they have no physical proof of harassment. If you have any similar experiences or have needed to take this to court, how did it go? Is it even worth it? To be completely honest im starting to feel like maybe my child is the issue or im being a terrible parent despite everyone telling me its normal.

Feeding issues

Hi all!
My baby has been constantly crying , more so starts evening time, she’s inconsolable. I’m an over supplier and I’m not sure if she’s just getting top layer of my milk causing digestive issues. She also had tongue tie which was done 2 days ago (she’s 5 weeks)
I’m at a loss, I’m so unhappy with my breast feeding journey so far, ay one point I’m crying so much my husband looked at me like I need to be sectioned. It seems silly to stop feeding if I have plenty of milk but I feel like it’s causing a lot of issues for my baby, tongue tie didn’t help either

What do I do? Do I end my bf journey here for my sanity and fit her as she may not be getting the bottom layer of my milk
I’m just drowning her with my let downs and the watery bit of my milk

(I don’t want to pump before I feed every time to get rid of some, it’s exhausting enough)

Moving toddler car seat over

Those of you who are about to have your second baby, when have you moved your toddler car seat to behind your drivers seat to make way for newborns seat behind the passenger seat?

I'm having a bit of a moment about it, like my eldest will feel pushed out 🥹 I'm not due until 20th May, so don't need to do it yet but unsure when to

Transition to formula

I am a second time mom to a beautiful girl, I have been exclusively pumping since day one as she was born early. Ever since I have been grateful what my body has done but she is having to be supplanted as she’s not gaining as much as her pediatrician has wanted. With that said I am an oversupplier and as I still pump and feed according to her her doctor apart of me wants to continue pumping and supplementing but the other part of me wants to stop pumping and use what stash I have and transition her to formula!

Am I wrong for wanting to do this? I am attached to pumps most the day, I stress about leaving the house cause of everything I have to pack and prepare to go out longer than a couple hours.
