Transition to formula

I am a second time mom to a beautiful girl, I have been exclusively pumping since day one as she was born early. Ever since I have been grateful what my body has done but she is having to be supplanted as she’s not gaining as much as her pediatrician has wanted. With that said I am an oversupplier and as I still pump and feed according to her her doctor apart of me wants to continue pumping and supplementing but the other part of me wants to stop pumping and use what stash I have and transition her to formula!

Am I wrong for wanting to do this? I am attached to pumps most the day, I stress about leaving the house cause of everything I have to pack and prepare to go out longer than a couple hours.

I pumped for a whole 7 days and quit , baby boy is fat and happy on formula. I recommend from your message to do it! Nothing is worth hurting your mental health and leaving the house with so much stress hurts! You’ve got this momma so proud of how far you’ve made it on your breastmilk journey!

As someone who is currently weaning from pumping after 24 months of pumping exclusively. If you want to stop, stop.

It is a whole second job pumping. I used to cuddle my daughter while pumping a lot. We now sit and read books or have TV time or if im out she likes to ask what that? With my battery pack vibrating her foot 😄😄 ive got a few more days before I get rid of my last middle of the day pump and then I have two left to go (i am an under supplier). And I cant tell you how much I am looking forward to going 9 til 9 without pumping and not having to pack an icepack for my milk.

Ummmmmmm not at ALL! Do you boo. My now 2 month old was in the NICU for 39 days. Born early (34 weeks). Started exclusively breastfeeding but my son needed supplementing too. I was over supplying & had a stash left. When he got home he ate all the breastmilk stash so I went full Enfamil AR. I couldn't do it anymore. 2 months was enough lol.

We go thru soooooooo much as women. Feel no shame my dear!

I also pumped for the first two months and had to supplement with formula. I found pumping especially at night quite exhausting but was also feeling a bit guilty about stopping. I have stopped completely a week ago and I honestly don’t regret it! My baby is perfectly fine, I am more rested and have more time during the day to do whatever I want :)

Baby sleep consultants have made an industry out of exhausted mums wanting a ‘fix’ to their babies sleep, even though there’s no such thing

Prams !!

Currently 22/40 with our first baby!! We plan on having 2 under 2, would it make sense to purchase a double stroller to avoid a secondary cost with the second bay?

How many words does your 15MO say?

This post is not to put anyone or their baby down especially if that baby is having difficulties I’m just curious how many words other children My daughter‘s age are saying because she surprises me. She’s been saying words since she was about 2 1/half months old it started with little words like go out dad mama and she’s already at the point where she’s repeating random words out of nowhere I didn’t think kids started doing that till they were a bit oldershe says far more than 25 words at this point I couldn’t even name them all and like I said every day she says something new she repeats words out of nowhere and I didn’t think a kid that young really started repeating repeating words, unless they’ve sat down and it’s been worked with saying that word but she’ll just say things out of nowhere. She’s already starting to try to put two words together and at her doctors appointment yesterday her doctor told me that that’s actually a skill for two-year-olds what do y’all think and how much is your 15 month old saying?

Sick note due to mental health

Hi everyone,
I am currently almost at the end of my 2nd months of fit note due to mental health, this is the first time going 2 months and above . Now i am thinking of getting a 3rd fit note due to the fact i feel i still not all that strong to resume work. My question now is, do gp give you a 3rd one which makes it 3 months of being off from work or it s not allowed?

Nappies abroad

I’m going to Benidorm in a month, I don’t know if I’m better off taking enough nappies with me, or do supermarkets usually have over there ?
Thank you
