This post is not to put anyone or their baby down especially if that baby is having difficulties I’m just curious how many words other children My daughter‘s age are saying because she surprises me. She’s been saying words since she was about 2 1/half months old it started with little words like go out dad mama and she’s already at the point where she’s repeating random words out of nowhere I didn’t think kids started doing that till they were a bit oldershe says far more than 25 words at this point I couldn’t even name them all and like I said every day she says something new she repeats words out of nowhere and I didn’t think a kid that young really started repeating repeating words, unless they’ve sat down and it’s been worked with saying that word but she’ll just say things out of nowhere. She’s already starting to try to put two words together and at her doctors appointment yesterday her doctor told me that that’s actually a skill for two-year-olds what do y’all think and how much is your 15 month old saying?

It is definitely a skill for older usually. Generally about age 2 (worked in nurseries for years).
All child dependant. My daughter has been able to have a full conversation since about 16 months.
They don't need to be taught words in a sat down context. They pick up a lot throughout the day, through books etc.

My 18 month old still doesn’t talk , she will occasionally say wow but that’s it , I think it just depends on the child x

I don't know about 2 months, but mine was definitely on 2-word sentences by 18 months. They asked if she had at least 25 words and we kind of laughed. Doctors have always said she's quite advanced in her speech and since 2 she's basically been talking in full sentences. When it clicks, it happens fast.
