C section pain or period pain?

Had a c section 6 weeks ago and this week I feel rough? My lower back is so sore, I get that feeling like I'm going to start my period and just feel really moody and a bit crampy but not where I'd usually get period cramps? So I'm unsure if this is c section discomfort still as the internal heals or impending period pain.

Anyone got any views on what they think it is or did you feel like this at any point?
I also have a nearly 3 year old so literally don't stop all day! #SendHelp 🫣🤣

I've had something similar, make sure to mention it to the doctors if you're able to. Are you still bleeding with this pain at all?

Could be a little bit of both?!

My lower back is aching and i do think its as our abdominal muscles are still healing and strengthening- so our back is making up for it causing pain - but likewise i have a 2.5yo who im lifting and laying!!

I got my period back at 7weeks PP this time and 8 weeks PP after my first both csections & had cramps, menstrual spots and usual pre period moods etc in the lead up!

Should I go to ER?

I’m about to be 3 months PP I got my period last night and today I’ve been having to change my pad every 2 hours cus I’m bleeding like crazy. I feel super weak, my legs feel heavy, I ate and I still feel lightheaded. I also had 3 blood transfusions after my emergency c section bc I lost too much. Idk if that relevant but
Should I go to ER if this continues till night? Everybody keeps telling me that it’s normal to have heavy period after birth and I’ve had my period after I gave birth so this is my second time getting it and it wasn’t this heavy like I’ve been constantly gushing…sorry for tmi

Hi all,

I just had an unexpected c section. So haf no chance to prepare.

What’s the best care? When should I start sensitivity massage?

What creams are best? And which belt did you use?

So I've noticed today my babies movements aren't as strong more like little flutters compared to feeling his whole body move (On my way to triage now) I'm just wondering if they'd offer me an induction or not as I'm trying to avoid being induced

So frustrated

So my newborn almost definitely has oral thrush. I had initially thought it was just milk tongue but when he yawned earlier I can see its also on his throat. I phoned the maternity triage number but the automated message said if its an urgent issue press two (which to me, oral thrush isn't?) and for non urgent enquiries contact your GP (its Saturday??) So I went to the pharmacy but they cant treat babies younger than 3 months for thrush. So i phoned back triage and just pressed 2 anyway. But they cant help with issues relating to baby, only me. They said i have to call NHS24. But I really, really dont want to do that because I know they'll send me to the hospital and thats the last place I want an 8 day old baby unless absolutely necessary.
I get the midwife in tomorrow but my boobs are already starting to hurt so I dread to think what they'll be like by then 😭😭
Anyone else just completely frustrated and at a loss by the lack of support for parents of newborns? 🫠🫠

Dates

Did dates help anyone with bringing on labour? I have started eating them and couldn’t do them by themselves so sharing a way I have found I can eat them….

āļø Put the dates in boiling water for 10 minutes and remove the skin and pip.

āļø Blend them down and add a large tablespoon of crunch biscoff

I managed to eat it all no problem šŸ˜‚
