Won’t drink water

I literally can’t get my baby to drink water. Tried numerous different cup/ bottle styles, making it fun, showing him first.. nothing works. He either launches the bottle across the room if we offer it to him to do or just screams and cries. He isn’t being weaned off of formula until July when he reaches 12 months corrected but at the moment he’s having 3 bottles a day so it’s not a huge amount of fluid. With the warmer weather on its way (hopefully) and eating solids I’m so worried of health issues if he just isn’t drinking enough. Any tips or suggestions?

He only needs a few sips with meals.
Have you tried flavouring? Pop a slice of orange in?

I pop vitamin drops in my LO's water. The ones I use are orange flavour so he enjoys drinking it and has around 100ml on a warm day. He's 6 months old.

Colostrum collecting

I’ve been collecting colostrum for two weeks now and it always causes a bit of cramping. Tonight the cramping it’s caused is so intense and really hurting. I’ve stopped collecting but have heard it can induce labour. Anyone had intense cramping after collection and not gone into labour? I’m 39 weeks so happy if it is labour just want to be prepared

Going mad

I think Im going mad, losing my mind, insane. I am sat in bed worrying about going to sleep. We have a light projector in our bedroom for baby, it plays white noise, has a galaxy light projection etc. Never ever have I just heard what I heard from it. I swear to god I heard someone talking through it but I feel like it’s absolute madness because how is that even possible? Someone genuinely just talking through it I even had my earplugs in so it was loud. I had just turned the music off. I woke my partner up and said someone is talking through it then it made a strange beeping noise that it has NEVER made before once I mentioned it to my partner. Im completely freaking out. My partner thinks Im mad. Im starting to think Im mad because surely it isn’t even possible right? This has never happened before and always helpful to use to help my baby sleep. Wtf. I sound insane right now Im sure. Ive completely unplugged it lol. I think Im completely buggered on paint fumes 😂😂😂

Induction

Long story short my waters broke early and I’m needing induced soon .I’m just wondering what it was like experience wise? As I’ve been told different things about how the induction goes normally ,but what is their methods wise when my waters have been refilling and breaking for a few weeks? still mucus plug intact and last I was checked I was only 2cm dilated. Also what do people pack differently to a normal birth compared to an induction birth? Thank you x

Perineal Massage 🫠

Ahh cant believe im finally at the stage of doing this! Im due literally the 1st so there might not be many of you doing this yet - has anyone started? I was surprised how uncomfortable it was! And doing it yourself is so difficult to manoeuvre! Not much dignity left at this point 😂

Worried about going into natural labour before elective c-section - any advice on whether I should collect colostrum etc or whether that might start labour. Anyone else the same?

I’m 38+0 and I’ve been booked in for an elective at 39+3 as my baby is breech. However, I’m really worried about going into natural labour beforehand. This is my second pregnancy and my first labour was speedy lasting 1 hour and 40 minutes. Of course any labour could be different, but I’m worried that I’ll have another speedy and similar labour without any warning signs beforehand (no waters breaking in advance etc) and I’m 40 minutes from the hospital but also reliant on my parents looking after my toddler and they live 25 minutes away.

The consultant has told me to immediately get to hospital if I have any signs or niggles of anything at all for an emergency c-section and that I could also call an ambulance. I’m so nervous about natural labour now that I have stopped using my ball, even though I have colostrum coming through I haven’t started collecting it and I’m cutting down on walks. Essentially overthinking things that might potentially start labour.

My questions are: am I being over the top by worrying? Should I be doing all these things as normal? Particularly collecting colostrum? Am I silly by not collecting it?
Also, is anybody else feeling the same before an elective? Or in a similar situation?

Thanks
