Darker nipples and v* during and post pregnancy - do they ever go back to normal

Pregnant with me 2nd son: i dont feel as confident in my changing body. My nipples and v* are also getting darker - i read that this is due to the hormones changes and to help the baby breastfeed but i used to have beautiful blush colored nips and no discolouration. Do they ever go back to normal?
