Girlies that have already had their babies this month/last month and had a c-section, how are you recovering? I’m having one this week and getting really nervous now!

Hey ive just had a c-section on the 30th and i have a 2½ year old im very tired and a bit sore but I promise its really not to bad it is scary I won't lie but just think about what comes after those newborn cuddles are so worth it just take it slow and take any help offered it makes recovery alot easier xxx

I had a section on 23rd and have an active 3yr old too.
I've been pain free since day 4/5 and ache free since day 7.
It's my second section and I healed just quickly the first time round. Honestly you'll be fine. Get moving as soon as you can post op and stay on top of your pain relief if you need it. Move slowly but stay active.
You'll be fine ❤️❤️ good luck
Ps, don't forget to use the gas and air during the spinal to help you relax xxx

I had an emergency c-section and have found this recovery easier than my forceps and episiotomy in 2023 tbh.
I was out for a walk on day 3 and have been moving around relatively normally since. I can do the washing, cleaning etc. I just avoid lifting anything heavy and doing too much bending down/ twisting.
It really surprised me how straight forward recovery was. I’ve been regimented in my pain relief round the clock though and got up and moving asap and I really think that helped. The worst part for me was the blood thinning injections.
Good luck x
Thanks everyone. This is really helpful🩷🩷
