41 weeks and 2 days… Hoping baby comes soon..

I got a sweep yesterday and they told me if I don’t go into labor in the next two days I should come back in to be induced. Trying to decide if I should wait until 42 weeks to be induced. I really hope he comes soon, I really don’t want to be induced. I’m trying not to be sad about it but it’s so hard, I can’t help it. Don’t know what to do, I feel like I’ve tried everything. I want to cry.

I’m in the same boat - had a sweep yesterday but was only 1cm, supposed to get induced tomorrow. I was so hoping to avoid induction, but I’ll be 41+5 tomorrow and they suggest the induction before 42w because it can take a day or two before anything happens, and after 42 weeks the chance of having a stillbirth increases significantly 😞 it’s a tough choice to make, but you’ll figure out what’s best for you & yours ❤️

Hey girl, I totally feel you, I was in the same boat. I'm sure baby will come any day now. Even while I was in labor, I had to get pitocin to help with dilation. Even if you get induced, baby will come out just fine. Wishing you the best 💗

I was in the same boat as you love. They told me I had to induce myself naturally or they would have to induce me themselves. Before my 40th week, my fiancée gave me the best massage ever and we went into labor within two days after. Our girl came fast but, healthy. So don't give up hope. He'll come. 🙏🏾 ❤️

Most people suggest their periods get heavier after birth, but has anyone found that their periods got noticeably lighter?

31 weeks measuring small

Hello! Went to my app today and was measured with the tape measure and I am measuring 26 weeks so a massive drop. I was measuring 1 week small a few weeks ago but now 5 weeks small.. has anyone been in a similar situation? Waiting on an ultrasound this week

Baby engaged 37 weeks

I was told last week at 37 weeks that baby is fully engaged and very low down by my midwife. This is my second baby and I’ve read that second time around baby usually engages later on. My midwife said she doesn’t think she will see my at my next appt (39 weeks) as she thinks the baby will come early based on this! Does this mean labour is near? Any second time mums experienced the same and did baby come early?
