My son who is 3 half is due to have his pre school vaccine tomorrow. Question is he’s already had his chickenpox I paid privately when he was young to have it. Has anyone else done this and do they still give it them? Cause I know chickenpox is included now. I will ask tomorrow but just wondering. Thank you

it’s 2 vaccines they get for the preschool ones, my daughter had hers the other week. They can still give him one, but the other may not be able to. I am fairly certain they will allow him to have it because it can’t harm him, and he needs the booster. but do make sure to tell them first

Yes my daughter had the chicken pox vaccine and then had the pre school one recently, it’s a combined vaccine so they can’t take it out or anything, the nurse just said to me her body would just ignore that part as it would recognise it and already have the antibodies
Perfect thank you ladies! Will mention it tomorrow but just wondered xx

Same, we had it privately last year then had the preschool vaccines, the nurse said it was fine and you can’t over vaccinate
