She's here! - 8th May

she arrived via emergency c-section after what can only be described as a very traumatic induction at 40 weeks due to GDM and Polyhydramnios but on the 8th May at 40+1, not sure what time as I was out of it but weighing 8lb 1oz not the 9lb 7oz the consultants had been predicting, taken to breast feeding like a champ and is just the picture of perfectness and I am just so in love 🥰🥰🥰

Am I crazy?

Okay, so my husband’s ex’s name is the same as a month. Hoping this makes sense but am I totally crazy for not wanting to have our child born in that same month as her name?

(Context - he has 2 kids with her so she’s very much relevant in our lives)

Elective C section

Hi all ☺️ I am a FTM to a little girl with due date 27th May. Just signed off on an elective c section on non medical grounds (anxiety). Wondering if anyone else is going for the same option as it doesnt seem to get talked about much and it would be interesting to hear from others about why they chose c section. Thanks

Pelvic Prolapse

Hi all, has anyone had a prolapse before? Either uterus or bladder?

I’m 6 months postpartum, do my pelvic floor exercises and have deep infiltrating endometriosis involvement on my bowel. But tonight I stood up and felt something heavy drop downwards. My partner has had a look and I’ve got what I can only describe as a massive/soft lump now covering the opening of my vag*na. It’s there when I’m stood up and lying down. I’ve got a heaviness down there as well which I didn’t have before.

Has anyone else had this? Any tips to help sort it? I cannot afford pelvic floor therapy as I am on maternity leave and get paid less than minimum wage with a house and 2 kids to pay for!

Thanks in advance

Did you ever kick your partner out while in labor?

In my defense..... he was complaining about the dad bed while i was mid-contraction 🤷‍♀️
