Morning ladies!

How do you all deal with the negative stigma and feedback that comes from leaving bad relationships and marriages to protect your children?

While I consider myself a victor and not victim anymore, I am always being blackballed and shunned for the best decision of my life.

Please share your coping styles with me.

I honestly had to cut those people out of my life, including my whole family unfortunately. I do a lot of encouraging self talk and that helps a lot. I personally am very Christian and thinking of my worth to God, and him knowing the truth, helps me a lot. It really has taken years to see my worth and learn to just let go and blow off stupid things people say and do. And when it gets to me I do a lot of the positive self talk. Also finding a good counselor, which has taken me many to do has helped too. I am curious what others will say, as it is always a on going battle to remind myself the right things, and Mother’s Day is always rough reminders of many things. Good job on getting out of the bad marriage and seeing your worth early on! And congrats on the miracle nicu baby, I have the same too 😄
