3 week old cluster feeding and restless!

FTM of 3 week old boy and the past 24 hours have been HARD. Waking every hour to feed and I’m talking 4oz a time. He’s a big baby at 10lb and up above his birth weight so I’m not too concerned with the amount per feed but it’s CONSTANT. Did anyone else experience this at this age, is so advise please 🙏

I had a very hungry baby too with my first! I think around 6 weeks it calmed down a bit. I breastfed him mainly but around 11pm I used to give him a bottle of formula or breast milk mixed with formula and it made him sleep longer. Anyway don’t know if that’s helpful at all, all the best x

Breastfeeding a baby born at 11lb and he’s also waking every hour to feed day and night 😭he was 11lb 12oz by day 14 and never dropped birth weight so he’s packing on the weight but it’s so so difficult x

what would you do if you left your 6mo baby with your MIL for a few hours, and come home to her breastfeeding your baby? (she doesn't produce milk tho)

Her excuse: the baby was crying non stop and she panicked

Do you wake your baby up from naps?

I’ve been reading so many mixed information online and I’m confused .

I read that if you shouldnt let baby sleep too long in the afternoon you should wake baby up, to make the sleep pressure stronger for the night sleep.

I also heard the classic saying “never wake a slee baby up” .

FYI My baby is 10 months old. I know a newborn just need lots of sleep so you kind of just let them do their things . But around 10 months what would you say?

Second Hand Baby Bottles?

Am I okay to use second hand baby bottles? I'm trying to introduce a bottle to my breastfed baby but so far we've had no luck. I don't want to go out and buy all the different bottles only for her to then refuse them all?

Would I be okay using second hand bottles to find one she likes and then buying new? I've been told mixed things but would just be trying her with the teats to find one she may actually take?

Night feeds.

How often is your baby waking to breastfeed at night?

So my girlie is 3 weeks tomorrow.
Last night she had a feed at 20:00 in bed then put her in her Moses basket and she woke every 2 hours for a feed and nappy change.
Does this sound normal for this age?

She’s on the boob for like 15 mins then 15 mins upright winding her as otherwise she sicks it all back up .. so all in all I get about 1/1.5 hours sleep in between 🙈

Thanks xx

Ella’s melty sticks

My baby loves Ella’s melty sticks but once I open them they go stale within hours so I end up binning more than he’s eating.
I’ve tried using zip lock bags etc but I can’t keep them fresh.
How are youse storing them to keep them fresh?
