Anyone else’s baby keep spitting up? She doesn’t seem uncomfortable or upset, but after pretty much every feed…even if I burp her she spits up. Sometimes while I’m feeding she gets a little fussy, then spits up straight after.
It definitely seems to be happening more as the weeks go by. It wasn’t like this in the first few weeks, and she’ll be 2 months this week.
I’m not sure if I’m overfeeding her, but I’ve heard you can’t really overfeed when breastfeeding is that true?
The health visitor is coming today so I’m going to mention it to her as well and see what she says .

My little one is the same. Started a couple weeks ago but he’s formula fed. I’ll follow the comments for advice also

Yes, you can't overfeed a breastfeeding baby because the milk adjust to their needs. Reflux is very very normal. There is a flap on top of stomach who is immature and some babies more than others. Usually gets better by 6 months. If it doesn't bother baby too much, you don't have to do anything except burping after feed, keeping upright for 5 min after a feed.

I asked my HV about this, she said it’s totally normal as there a hole between stomach and food pipe, making it easy for milk to come up. She said as long as baby is gaining weight, regular nappies and is otherwise content, then don’t worry! 😚 it peaks around 6-8 weeks apparently as their digestive system goes through development.
