Antihistamines?
Hi all, has anyones doctor prescribed antihistamines for their little one? My boy has recently started really rubbing his eyes and keeps blinking really hard so im wondering if he has allergies?
He has just very recently had a bad cold and conjunctivitis so could be the aftermath of this?

My son was on antihistamines for 2 weeks (8 doses a day) for Urticaria. He was fine, little more tired, but it helped with the issues we had.
Your LO may have some hay-fever so defo get some and see if it helps. Doesnt need to be prescribed at this age x
Mine was prescribed last year coz she has congested nose and was coughing so much at night. So had to take it everyday all through spring and summer. And then she was fine. See your GP and see what he has to say, or maybe just your pharmacist.
I'd check that the conjunctivitis is definitely gone, but as above you can get antihistamines for them directly from the pharmacy. Some make them more drowsy than others so ask them the difference between Piriton and Piriteze for example as they are different.
