Is anyone still on the blood thinning injections? They told me 6 weeks but my stomach is so bruised and painful not sure what to do 😭

I was told I could do them in my thigh area but deffo hurt more there, I would ask your gp/hv

they can be done on both the arm and the leg

I was told the best place is the stomach. I have been putting a piece of ice on first. It only hurts for like 10 mins and tbh I spoke to the GP about stopping them early & she strongly advised against it saying there is a reason they give you 6 weeks as your risk of blood clots is much higher x
