41 weeks and no sign of baby!

I'm 40 and 6 tomorrow and I'm feeling fine. Ive been told They'll discuss induction when it's 41 and 5. However, if they're not worried apparently they may leave it a little longer. This is what I was told. Hope that helps

Aw I’m glad it’s not just me, this pregnancy I’ve felt so good physically and still able to walk up hills and cover 6/7 miles a day some days. It feels like baby can’t possibly be nearly here if
I feel like this. Although oddly, today I’ve had zero energy and felt quite lethargic, maybe body is telling me something. Have you had a sweep? I had one at 40+5 and have another for 41+2. Think they like to book inductions for end of 41st week usually?

Just out of interest, when were your first two born?

I had a sweep on Saturday unplanned. She asked if I wanted it and I said, why the hell not; if it helps then great. It was so intrusive but it was good as she told me how dilated I was: 1cm.
If you're healthy without risk I think you may be discuss it further in terms of an induction. I have a home visit for a sweep tomorrow so I'll get an update on my dilation. I've not looked into being induced as i wanted to have a home birth - little quieter - but not freaking out about it before necessary.
