Sex after birth
I'm 6 weeks postpartum and my husband and I had sex for the first time a week ago and it felt OK, I was relieved that it was normal (I had a tear and stitches) which I found the healing process much better than my episiotomy that I had experienced when having my daughter. However, when we had sex last night I found it painful at times, which has confused me as the previous time was absaloutly fine.
Has anyone else experienced discomfort and pain after and does it get better?

It takes time for things to feel totally normal down there. I think certain positions felt more comfortable for me and others felt a bit sore, but when I stopped breastfeeding after a year is when the regular feeling all came back! (That was my experience anyway, I had a 3B tear)
