It does take a while usually but you’re already 3 cm so it shouldn’t be too long. I was 1 cm dilated when I was induced . Checked in 6pm on a Saturday and had the baby 5 minutes to 4pm Sunday. As opposed to my 11pm to 6 am time in the hospital before my natural birth in February.

How far along are you? I was 37 weeks and induced due to complications. Should be faster if you’re farther along in theory

I recently had an induction and youre doing great already! i wasnt dilated at all and i tapped out to get the epidural at 3cm so youre off to a great start! if youre pain tolerance is low then definitely be open to the morphine or epidural early because i was stuck at 3-4cm for a while because my body was too tense..but once i got the pain medication i was able to relax and go through with cervical checks and get a cervadil inserted because the misoprostin wasnt working. I was able to dialate a lot after. Trust your doctors but dont be afraid to ask for more time or to wait to make decisions. Research any and all meds to be 100% educated on how it could affect you.
