Leg cramps

Wake up every morning with cramp in my calf (sometimes both at the same time). Dr google says it’s a common symptom, but it’s become a daily thing now and it’s excruciating.

Any tips to reduce it happening?

Same! It is really common like you said.
Some ladies in my pregnancy yoga class have recommended magnesium sprays or balms that you can put on at night, or eating a banana before bed.
I haven’t tried either yet personally, but I’m so aware of the cramps as soon as I wake up that I’m automatically doing stretches to ease the pain

I've started taking 1x 300mg magnesium supplement about 30 mins before I go to bed and I usually have a banana either before I go to sleep or in the night (as I often wake up hungry!). I have had very few leg cramps this pregnancy so far and remember I had more with my son and wasn't doing these things, so take that as you will!! Hoping it's making a bit of a difference. I mainly started taking the magnesium supplement as a sleep aid as have been really struggling with insomnia and it has had a positive impact on my nervous system and general feeling of calm for sure, so reducing cramps is just a secondary benefit for me anyway!

I seem to have developed a habit over time to stretch my feet and calves the wrong way around and it triggers awful cramps since pregnant. Last one I had the pain lasted 3 days after the cramp. I now force myself to stretch my toes and ankle the other way as often as possible when in bed and I’m surviving like this so far it works for me.

Confused?

Went to the chemist tonight because I thought I had a UTI. They have said I don’t have a UTI but recommend me taking a pregnancy test. Told them it isn’t possible. It isn’t possible right? My period only ended 7 days ago. We have had sex for the last 9 days but doubt it will even happen that quickly. She just said “mmm no take a test then go to the doctor”. Im worried I might have a kidney infection tbh. Don’t really want to waste money on pregnancy test when I know it probably isn’t possible.

Anyone had the same

Today had a 20 week anomaly scan . We are having a girl which is amazing as we already have a little boy.
At the scan all things look great except a very large abdomen , if you have experienced this what were you told ?

2nd pregnancy -mucus plug

For those that aren't first time mums, has your mucus plug gone yet? I'm 37 weeks on Saturday, but my MP went today. I called the 24/7 number line and they advised me that with second pregnancy, labour can come on a lot quicker. Could be days, or even tonight 🙃 the panic is real now! I'm hoping there's some mums here that can reassure me that theirs have gone days/weeks ago 👀🙏🏼

Bump bruising

So I had to have a couple of blood thinning injections directly into my bump on Tuesday and the bruise HURTS any advice on what I can do to relieve the discomfort? It’s on my left side as well so makes sleeping really difficult right now 😩

Increased baby movements!?

Every website and everywhere it says that from around 29 weeks baby is more cramped so the movements can start to be more calm and less in general because there is less space for jumping, wiggling and karate tricks. I feel like it's exactly the opposite for me. My belly leads its own life from now on! It's a scary sight to see. It literally jumps all day from side to side, up and down, you can see whole limbs sticking out and traveling all across the belly and it's constant. I literally don't have any idea of when baby possibly sleeps because the movements are constant, intense, always fast and always forceful. Its not little pokes or kicks but actual humongous movements that feel so defined that I know what he is doing!!

Feels so scary, I am only 29+2 weeks and I can't understand how I will be able to cope with even more intensity of movements over the next weeks, it seems it's only picking up speed from here!

Need help with biblical boys name

I am currently pregnant with my third boy and lost for a name
My current boys are named Samuel and Jesse
I love timeless biblical names (Noah, Benjamin, Joshua) but they seem overused
Any other names with the same vibe as my current boys please 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much 💕
