How do you know if your water breaks an have a slow leak ? Will it be painless when should I go to the ER

First, not everyone's water actually breaks before labor most it is during it. Some babies are even born still in the water.

Second, you'll hear an actual pop sound when it breaks. If it's leaking like yours might be then when you wipe you'll have a pinkish hue when you wipe.

My water didn’t completely broke I only had a leak and how we tested that it was amniotic fluid with a toilet paper I wiped the wet are and it need to come out clear or pinkish and the smell needs ti smell like you if it smells like salty like pee then it’s pee
