Boundaries/rules for when baby comes

What is everyone going to be telling people not to do when baby comes? Like
1.) don’t kiss baby
2.) if baby cries give back

I’m completely lost on what I should do for my boundaries/ list of things not to do. like I know off the top of my head but I want to write them down so hubby knows them too. (He also has given me full control over it because he hasn’t been around a lot of babies less than a year old)

No visitors unless they are in your bubble, like Covid time . I had to fight with my in laws to stop allowing people to come for the first 2 months

No picking up baby if he is sleeping. If you pick him up and he starts crying then you are dealing with him.

I have the same but with the addition of no strong perfumes / aftershaves and no holding the baby if you’ve smoked & have the second hand smell on your hands / clothes

Wash hands/use sanitizer before holding the baby, no photos on social media, let me or my partner know you're coming to visit in advance instead of just showing up and no kissing the baby are boundaries I've set in advance

I tickled someone’s baby 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ok so in the line to pick up my child from school I was talking to another Mum who was holding her baby, probably about 8-9 months old and she was smiling at me so I just out of habit gave her a little tickle on her tummy without even thinking. Afterwards I remembered that this Mum is very particular about people touching her baby and I’ve heard her telling her son not to touch until he’d washed his hands. I’ve noticed she’s been a bit different with me since and not as friendly. Should I address it with her or just let it go?

Drinking and breastfeeding

What’s your experience having a drink or two while breastfeeding? I had almost 3 drinks tonight and can’t decide if I need to pump and dump. I have enough to just dump it out but idk if that’s the right thing? Pls lmk

family members kissing baby

We’ve just had my partners auntie and uncle visit, we had no idea prior to the visit that his uncle is just getting over PNEUMONIA. He didn’t hold the baby, but he gave him a kiss on the head. They’re still downstairs now, i’ve washed his head with lukewarm water and decontamination lotion. He’s 9 days old. How much of a risk is there? I am beside myself crying, i wish they’d told us i wouldn’t have let them come over. We’re both in really good health and he’s breastfed.

Baby routines

Hey ladies! Be completely honest-whether the answer is yes or no I want to know...are you really able to keep your baby in a schedule at this point? My baby will sometimes feed have an ounce..and leave the rest of the bottle behind..go to sleep, wake up and then decide she wants more milk then sleep again. Other times she wakes up content won't feed for longer than I think and then gulp down 5 ounces. The length of naps have been shortening now too..45 minutes.. sometimes an hour and today 20-30 minutes mostly.
