Hi everyone,
Please share your experiences of birth in hospitals and with obgyns in Boise- St. Luke’s vs St. Alphonsous vs other clinic or a specific doctor/ mid wife who was great to work with. Your advice is much appreciated

I had Dr West at St. Luke's. Dr. West was absolutely amazing, very informative, but great at going with what mama wants. All of the staff (nurses/doctors) i interacted with were nothing but supportive and helpful. It was an amazing experience. It wound up being the on-call doctor who actually delivered my baby, Dr. West was on an airplane heading back to Boise when I went into labor. But even the on-call doctor was amazing, I hardly even noticed that my doctor wasn't there for the birth, she was just as encouraging and supportive. My son was also in the NICU for a few days, and I had an amazing experience with the NICU staff as well. They helped make a very scary experience feel a lot less scary. They did a great job at giving me support and helping me stay positive. After my experience, I say St. Luke's 100%

I really enjoyed pre/post care with Dr. Shrum at St Luke’s downtown. She was thorough on education and very nice! I transferred to her care at 28 weeks from Treasure Valley Midwives and had an amazing experience.

Dr Bergloff at st Luke’s Meridian is SO amazing!!! He’s very sweet and makes you feel comfortable enough to ask the awkward questions
He stayed 3hrs late to deliver my son, ended up going home, and turned around 5 mins from his house for us. I would recommend him to anyone

Another note I forgot to mention about Dr. West. He went straight to the hospital after landing, even though I had already had my baby, so that he could check on me and my son.
