If your partner is useless, was he like this pre baby, or only since the baby arrived?

I always see women posting about how useless their men are, wether that’s around the house with tidyness, doing things to make them feel loved and supported, or how they are with the kids, and I always think… was they like this pre baby? Or did they suddenly become useless after the child arrived?

My Husband is great. He's always been great and he's an amazing Dad. He probably does more than me around the house tbh x

I'm sure for me and a lot of moms i just really didn't pay enough attention prior to baby. Then when i needed help it wasn't there. I was young though and had no business raising a baby at that point but at the same time any which way the first is always a learning curve.

Having second throughs on our chosen name…

We’re having a girl and have planned on naming her Orla.
My sister is also due a baby girl 12 weeks before us and has just announced her baby will be called Eala (pronounced Ay-la). I’m now worried that the two girls names would be very similar and should I rethink our previous choice?

How do you pronounce these?

So I have two names that people have said are a bit hard to pronounce at first glance. So I'm asking, how would *you* pronounce "Owelia" and "Sylvana"?

Caption competition! Help!

Hey ladies,

I need your help please!

I’m making a Father’s Day card for my dad. I want to use this hilarious picture of him from when he took his grandson around soft play and it gave him a bit of a shock/heart attack.

I want to put a hilarious caption on it but I can’t think of one.

Hilarious suggestions please!

Pregnancy 12 months post C-section

Does anyone have any experience getting pregnant 12 months after a c-section? My deliveries will be 20 months apart, but I am still nervous.

Induction vs c section

After discussions at my antenatal class last night, I was thinking about inductions and c sections.

Would it be a strange question/request to ask my consultant/midwife that if they feel I need an induction, I’d prefer to have an elective section?

Weighing up the pros and cons of both, I feel like an elective section would be much easier for me to process physically and emotionally.

Any thoughts?

Opinions

We have really struggled to find a name we love for our baby boy due any day now but I think we’ve found one!

Kadrian - like Adrian but with an added K, and we’d call him Kade for short

What do people think ?
