Viral rash
Has anyone’s babies experience a viral rash yet? My little one had just been diagnosed by the doctor - what have your experiences been? Has it just been a rash and disappeared or has it evolved into something more serious, the doctor couldn’t tell us 😬 feeling very stressed

Hi, my baby has and it lasted about a week, maybe a bit less. Our doctor told us it should go by itself (but if it doesn’t then recontact the GP).
Hey lovely, my little girl had a viral rash/infection when she was 6 weeks old - bless her. It’s not very nice at all is it.
There is nothing they can do for viral infections, she had plenty of feeds (EBF), lots of cuddles and calpol on standby if her temp spiked, luckily it never did. Took a couple of weeks, we felt for it to be fully gone and to be herself again. She was only 6 weeks old though so she wasn’t as active as a 5/6 month old baby - I guess this is the age of your little one.
Just keep an eye on them and take her to the GP or hospital if you feel something is off.

My eldest had them all the time sometimes she didn’t even have symptoms. Youngest had a viral rash a few months ago and it was rsv, rash took ages to go but again it doesn’t always lead to something bad x
