Briefs for a petite toddler

I want to potty train my son in the May half term fully as seems ready to start however he's a really petite 2 year old who wears 9-12 Sainsburys and Next and is onlybjust starting to wear 12-18 for tops, not pants in other brands.

I've looked everywhere and the briefs seem to start from 18-24 months which will be too big for my little man. Does anybody know where I can get smaller sizes from? I don't want to delay training him but also don't want him wearing briefs that keep falling down either!

I have a little girl but she’s also 9-12 months clothing and I got her some knickers from primark. They’re 1.5-2 so they are big but luckily they don’t really fall down or anything. I couldn’t find anywhere that did 1-1.5 my MIL got her some from Temu that are 1-1.5 but they’re actually bigger than the primark ones and do fall down. I tumble dry them as well to try shrink them as much as possible😂
