Induction due to Preeclampsia

I was diagnosed with preeclampsia this weekend and I’ll be staying in hospital until I’m induced next week at 37 weeks.

I’m feeling deflated because I’m a T1 diabetic and I’ve fought so much with the hospital to put a birth plan in place that I’m content with and now it’s all gone out of the window! Thankfully, they’re still inducing me in the birth centre and letting me start there to give me a chance at having the water birth I’d really like 🙏

Anyone got any positive induction stories to share to keep me focussed and determined?! I’m surrounded by tiny babies and their tiny cries and I just can’t wait to meet my baby girl 🩷

I don’t first hands and I’m all for free birth, home birth and a bit mental! But preeclampsia is be thing I would be in a hospital for. You have so much power with in yourself I’m sure you will do really well. ❤️
I have seen many positive induction story’s on here, my friend had a sweep and pessary, and they did break her water but all went smoothly due to diabetes. Said it was fine!
And birthing Centers are much more oxytocin friendly! You can do this ! Can’t wait to hear about your baby girl ❤️!
