June 2026 Babies 🇬🇧

So I fell ill a few days ago and tried to be as careful as possible but honestly I know it was inevitable and my baby is now ill. He has a blocked runny nose, and a small cough (from the mucus) and thankfully no fevers or anything as of yet. Any tips would be amazing as I feel terrible. And am trying to help him as much as possible.

Can someone please tell me this gets better 😭😅 My baby was sleeping really well and now his sleep is completely chaotic, he will go to sleep initially but then 3 hours later he’s making noises, crying out etc and then it’s every hour after that!😭 he can fall asleep on his own most of the time so I don’t understand this and what I’m meant to do. He’s 13 weeks old but I’d say the disrupted sleep has been happening for the past 2/3 weeks. Anyone else? or anyone else been through this and know when it ends/how to help it?

What are we dressing our babies in at night now that they’ve learned to roll over? I know I shouldn’t swaddle her anymore. So far, I’ve been dressing her in a short-sleeve bodysuit with a zip-up sleepsuit over it, but now that it’s getting colder, I feel like she might need something warmer, like a blanket

What is everyone else using? A sleeping bag? If so, what TOG? 😊

My oldest never had a dummy, my baby has taken to it really surprisingly well! He’s 16 weeks and ebf, we started giving it to him in the car and buggy if he was getting upset but we were on the go and I also use it to help him fall asleep in the day when I’ve got both kids and can’t rock him or soothe him. I’m new to this and I have questions for dummy parents…

How many do you have? How often do you wash? How do you store them? When do you or don’t you offer it? When do you stop? How do you stop?! Help!!!

My LO once accidentally turned to his front and slept. I had the monitor on and was watching him the whole time. He did occasionally move his head side to side but never put his head flat on the bed. It was a very rare occurrence where he was able to give me a solid 3 hours of deep sleep. Now, while I never put my baby on his front to sleep - I am a bit tempted to just for the first stretch of sleep so I can have an evening to myself (obv I’ll watch him via the monitor). Thoughts? Has anyone done the same.
