My cycles have been super irregular and long (c.38-42 days) since they returned after having my LO. We’ve been TTC baby 2 since December but have been unsuccessful.
I’m pretty sure this is due to my luteal phase being short (6 days long). I saw the doctor about it last week and was completely brushed off. They said a short luteal phase made no difference to fertility.
I’ve been taking vit D, B12, folic acid, zinc and myo-inositol with no effect.
I’m at a loss with what to do now. I feel like I’m broken :(
Any advice?

First of all, you are not broken!!
I’m not offering medical advice, but I will share with you that a short Luteal phase could indicate estrogen dominance and low progesterone. A short Luteal phase certainly can make a difference in your fertility.
Some things you can do to help are eat whole foods, drink plenty of water, increase fiber (ensure you are having a BM everyday to rid your body of excess estrogens), remove toxins in your environment (chemicals in cleaning products, perfumes, everything with fragrances). Eating healthy fats like avocados will also be extremely beneficial for you.
Something that I think that would be of much assistance for you is talking with a women’s hormone coach. I’ll share a link here which has directory of hormone coaches who are all incredible. They can offer you lifestyle and diet changes to help your cycle become regulated. The best part is that your support plan is personalized to your needs and they won’t brush you off!

This is exactly me at the moment and I got brushed off too - thank you for sharing and I'm following for advice as well ❤️
