Rolling in sleep

My 6 month baby has just learnt how to role. He cannot role back onto his back yet though and always needs helps. He’s started sleeping on his tummy but wakes up upset when he can’t get back onto his back. So I’m having to go in and put him back onto his back. This is waking him up at night and I’m having to settle him back to sleep when it happens. Is this something I just have to wait out until he finally figures out how to do it himself? Any tips?

Unfortunately yes just a wait it out/get through it thing! You mustn't add anything to his bed, so will just have to help him for a little while

It's a short phase. He'll figure it out quick, just irritating in the meantime.

We had the same. Like others said, it is a short phase. I think my son did it for 2 weeks before he learnt to roll back. I did spend some time trying to teach him in the day though and it worked

My LO is at this stage too. But with space he can roll back over. In the cot it seems to be a bit harder, especially with a sleepbag. He struggles to more his arm out from under him. So we're still not comfortable with him sleeping on his front. He does LOVE to side sleep though😅

We are at this stage too! She wakes herself so much in the middle of the night or she rolls during her playmat time and cannot get back to her back and starts fussing. I'm glad to hear from the other mamas that it is a relatively short phase! 🤞🏽

So you think babies are smarter with?

I had a first time dad say babies that's breastfed have a 3% iq higher than a baby that's being formula feed. I told him it don't matter if they are breastfeed or formula feed it depends on the parents if they are teaching them and sI ending time with them vs just putting them in front of a tv or tablets. He said I sound stupid.

Relactation

Has anyone started their breastfeeding/pumping journey again after a very long break of dry. I haven’t breastfed or pumped for 3 months and I’m thinking about restarting. I just pumped and got a small amount of colostrum out but I don’t know if I’ll ever get a supply back.

Experience with not circumcising

Hi!
Having my baby boy any day now. My first is a girl and in a way that felt easier for the sake of feeling like I know what comes with being a girl. Me and my partner decided not to circumcise our son but everyone I know has been circumcised or circumcised their sons. I understand why people do circumcise it but it’s not something I’m comfortable with and don’t want to for the sake of “everyone else does it”.

Can anyone give me advice or tips or what to expect with not circumcising their sons? Feeling lost and anxious over it.

TIA!

Nappies or pull ups?

Are you supposed to change from nappies to pull ups when they start walking? I’m still using nappies

Hey mommas

For my anxiety ridden, overthinking mamas….. how do y’all function? Like I’m serious. Idk if there’s a medicine I can take to relax or just pray it out of me…idk…..but I notice EVERYTHING. Every smirk, every loss of eye contact, every text that i may be interpreting wrong… all of it. Overthink and just become filled with anxiety. My simple interactions turn into “why did they say it like that?” Or “they must be thinking badly of me or they don’t really like me.”

I knew it was bad this morning when I asked daycare if they need anything else for the grad party tomorrow. The response was kinda strange to me so I assumed she must not really want me to come and that maybe I should buy something else today to give to make things better. Like ………………….

Does your baby wake up

I have a 4 month old when he is sleeping dad and I will start having sex. Since the baby was born he will wake up almost every time. He’s usually a hard sleeper.
Is this normal? If this happens to you is your baby a boy or girl?
