I completely understand, you can always just tell your guests that it’s going to be a very simple party and see if anyone else would be able to make the cake and/ or bring any food. ❤️ I hope it works out

Awwe, I know you just want to make her first birthday unforgettable but you can still celebrate it simply. What’s important is that she’s happy and healthy. ❤️ I can let you borrow some decorations for her first birthday, mine just turned 1 last may 8.

Why don’t you try to join a group on Facebook called Buy Nothing and look for your City or town and I’m sure people might be able to help with decorations, maybe some extra food they have or something related. It doesn’t hurt to ask. Good luck mommy.

She doesn’t know what day her birthday is. Look on marketplace for free or cheap decor and you can get some novelty foods from food banks or churches. Right now birthdays are for us, babies don’t understand what a birthday is, maybe just having a really nice day together to celebrate. It doesn’t have to cost a single penny. Make good food, spend time laughing and playing together, take pictures somewhere fun with your phone to remember your day. It doesn’t have to cost money to celebrate.

I'm just doing a get together with my husband the kids and my family my siblings and some aunts and uncles.
We are literally just using food from the food shelf and throwing something together.

It can be super laid back. You can just do a candle with a 1 on it and do cupcakes or even just cookies.
