Party favours

Hello mommies! Can you share some useful and cute party favours for your baby’s birthday party please?

I’ve known friends go to the Works and get the 10 kids books for £10 and doing those as favours which I think is fab. For our little one’s party, we’re going for a Hobbit theme so we’re going to do a bake and a craft on the theme (some shortbread “lembas”, and a handmade leaf keyring, and some second hand copies of the Hobbit that we’ve been collecting in charity shops). It’s a joint party for her and her papa who have birthdays in the same week, else we wouldn’t be going soooo extra 😅

For my little one’s birthday I’ve done what the person above said and done the 10 books for a pound at the works, I put in a little snack bar or melty sticks for them to eat. And I even bought the vegetable net bags from Aldi to put them in (as they’re great to put toys/loose parts in!)

Other great ones I’ve had is a craft to take home. Home made play doh was a great one too

Hands down the 10 books for £10 from the Works. Some sweets. A little colour book and a packet of them mini pencils and crayons x

Baby boy

Baby boy Isaac couldn’t wait until our booked section on Friday, waters broke at 4:30am and labour began fast! Born today at 12:30pm💙🥰

Is my craving weird?

Just tried to explain to my husband and mother why mango and smoked paprika is amazing but they’ve both said that’s weird!

My daughter is so excited to be a big sister so I thought she’d like to see her on the screen.

Little lady was very difficult yesterday 😂 she kept facing away, and when she did face towards us she either kept a hand up to her face or pushed right into my uterine wall 🤦🏼‍♀️ so she had a squished nose.
But, they did rescan me 30mins after my initial one to try and get better photos.
It was cute seeing her feet crossed over.

I did go back to Window to the Womb again to see if they’d be better this time and they were much more friendly.
When I went for an early scan, they were not good but I believe in 2nd chances.

Did you have less midwife appointments with your 2nd pregnancy?

The last midwife appointment I had was back in March (I think) and then I was told by the midwife that I wouldn't be seen until I am 28 weeks, I believe I was 14 or 15 weeks at the time. I do have an appointment for June 22, however I just have some concerns. I told the midwife in March that I want a VBAC and she told me I need to have a consultation at the hospital when I am 28 weeks, she also said I need my RSV jab and whooping cough by 28 weeks. On top of that I need an appointment for my glucose test because diabetes runs in my family. I haven't received word on any of that, I also don't have an assigned midwife as mine left to go work in the hospitals. Already I have had to reach out to the midwife number because the midwife I saw had my due date wrong and that took me 5-6 days to get an answer back to get it fixed. Just worried about having to do everything all at once and it being too much and overwhelming... As no one would want to have to do the RSV jab, whooping cough and glucose test all within the same week or two. Just wondering if this is normal?

Nick name help!

We named our little girl Raegann after the exorcist, and can’t think of nick names. The obvs is Rae but my brain is farting thinking of things.
